A super short digest for you all this week.

No Phone Conference Today!
Sorry start-up folks, we will not be having a phone conference today.
Ursula Updates
I'll be out of the office from Wednesday 5/19 (in the afternoon) through Monday 5/24 for a visit to Hartford with Sr. Barbara-Jean's team (including Ryan).
I'm also starting a part-time schedule for June and July. I'll be in the office at least 3 days a week, and I should still be very accessible. These next two months will be my last as CHIP Program Manager with NDA as I'll be starting a full-time Master's in Social Work program at the University of Maryland here in Baltimore. The part-time schedule will allow me to start classes, continue to work with you all through the end of your service year, and train whoever comes after me.
Have a great weekend!

Welcome
Across the country, we see the effects incarceration has on families, and especially on children.
This blog was created as a discussion forum for AmeriCorps Members working on mentoring programs for children of incarcerated parents across the country.
It is so valuable to hear about the similarities and differences, successes and challenges, and inspirations and frustrations we have encountered serving children, families, and mentors.
I hope this blog will connect us by providing a space for discussion, questions and answers, and inspiration as we work with a common mission in different programs in different places.
