Great work this month!
Collectively in October you all:
-Led 19 training/workshops
-Recruited 53 mentors
-Identified 82 children
-Took part in forming 22 matches
-Had 0 match closures
***Many of you made your first matches***
Currently you support a total of 40 matches!
Some Ongoing Challenges:
-working with partnering schools, congregations, and agencies
-having work that fits the job description
-lag time with background checks
-lag time with Caregiver's Choice ---- let me know if you are having this problem; I'm going to give them a call
-finding holiday donations
-working a lot - overextending self
-finding mentors and mentees and following up with them and families/keeping them engaged
I included these because I think many of you are having similar challenges. Please talk to me, your site director, or other members if you think we can help you address any of these issues. I know many of you have already addressed them in a variety of ways, but let us know if we can support you.

-last year I was able to order free posters, bookmarks, and little cards... I emailed CNS to see if that will be possible again this year. No response yet. There still may be something useful for you on the website.
