Happy 2010! Happy National Mentoring Month!
Hope you all are doing well - establishing matches and getting ready for mid-year.
I'm back in the office, so if you need anything feel free to call or email.
~Attached are the CHIP Coordinator Objectives - Applicable if you are in program start-up.
Sept. - Jan. are the same objectives that you've had from the beginning.
Feb. - June are split for people who have been on a match-making roll and those of you who have been having more trouble.
July Objectives are the same for everyone.
~Most of you have completed your monthly reports, but a reminder if you haven't.
Please submit them today.
I'm looking forward to hearing from you in the new year!

Welcome
Across the country, we see the effects incarceration has on families, and especially on children.
This blog was created as a discussion forum for AmeriCorps Members working on mentoring programs for children of incarcerated parents across the country.
It is so valuable to hear about the similarities and differences, successes and challenges, and inspirations and frustrations we have encountered serving children, families, and mentors.
I hope this blog will connect us by providing a space for discussion, questions and answers, and inspiration as we work with a common mission in different programs in different places.
