Delays

I hope you all are well! Sorry for sending this a little later in the day.
In this digest: some general housekeeping (monthly reports, conference call, background checks) and another resource (MENTOR webinar).

Monthly Report Time
*February Monthly Reports are due March 5th.

Conference Call
We'll have an optional conference call Monday March 22nd at 3:30pm Eastern Time.
Please email or call me to suggest topics for discussion.

Background Checks
If I do your background checks, please continue to send them in to me, but know that there will be a delay. SafetyNET is on hold in processing background checks because of the new legislation that just passed to extend the pilot program we use for our background checks.
I got the following in an email from SafetyNET:

"Congress has passed the bill to extend the Child Safety Pilot, SafetyNET. However, we are waiting for President Obama to sign the bill extending SafetyNET. Once that occurs, SafetyNET will resume full operations....we will not be accepting any new fingerprint cards until two weeks after President Obama signs the bill extending SafetyNET. We will notify you via email when we resume full operations.
We regret the inconvenience that this delay may have caused your program, mentors and the children that you serve."
